YouTube Overview
YouTube is the widely-known, global, video-sharing website which first manifested in 2005. With literal millions upon millions of videos available on the site, nearly anything can be found on the service. Searching for videos on YouTube yields results based primarily on what the original uploading channel used as the title, description, and "tags" on the video. This may interfere with misspellings, varying terminology, and other influences, such as copyright content. YouTube has strict copyright rules when it comes to certain music, movies, television shows, and other media.

YouTube Search Strategies
Being that YouTube has such a wide variety of videos, from music to documentaries, there are a number of ways to narrow a search to the desired results. For example, simply typing in "van gogh" brings in a long list of potential results. Acting upon this search also yields a variety of results. By applying a filter from the list of options, or by alternating search terminology, more accurate results can be found. On the other hand, searching a broad search such as this can also often bring results that a narrowed search may not reveal.
